Animated demo, with a sample office.

01What you can do

A whole office, in one app.

A team per project

Agents with a role, an area and their own notes. They hand work to each other and you follow every step.

With your own AI

Your ChatGPT plan, Gemini, an Anthropic key or other providers, or models on your own computer. You pay your provider directly for the AI.

Scheduled work

Routines run on their own while Colonia is running, and only speak up when there is something to say.

Tasks and commitments

A board with who does what and by when. You approve what matters.

A browser they can use

In tabs you can watch. Passwords and payments stay with you.

On your computer

Your data stays on your computer. The AI you connect gets only what each request needs.

02What's new

More than a chat window.

A team that works together, a browser it can use, little apps built for you, and the chats and phone you already carry.

Home, your secretary, plus an agent per role in each project. They hand work to each other and you see it as a card in your chat.

They do the work. You keep the last word.

Agents that run on your computer, with your files and your keys. You decide how much they do alone and what needs your approval.

03Three steps

From zero to your first agent.

  1. 01

    Install Colonia

The desktop app on macOS, Windows or Linux, on your own computer.

  2. 02

    Connect your AI

Your subscription or your AI key. Agents cannot work without it; we explain how to get one.

  3. 03

    Say hi to Home

Your secretary. Tell it your name, add a work folder and ask for something.

05Prefer the terminal?

Everything has a command.

Optional: you do not need it to use Colonia. If you like the terminal, ask Home without leaving it.

Questions before you start?

What people ask most, without the jargon.

What is Colonia?

A team of AI agents organised around your projects. Give them different roles, follow their work on a shared task board and keep each project's conversations and context together.

Do I have to install anything?

Yes. Colonia installs on your macOS, Windows or Linux computer. There is also an Android app that pairs with your computer.

Do I need an AI subscription or key?

Yes. Everyone connects their own: your ChatGPT plan, a key from a provider such as Gemini or Anthropic, or a model on your own computer. You pay your provider directly for the AI.

Does my data stay on my computer?

Colonia keeps its information on your computer. The AI provider and services you connect receive what each request needs. Telemetry comes switched off: nothing leaves unless you set a destination.

How much can agents do on their own?

You decide with the permission mode: which actions they take directly and which need your confirmation. Review the modes before giving them more autonomy.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You use it from the app, talking to the agents. Terminal commands exist for those who want them, but they are not required.

Every agent, its penguin.

Your colony is waiting.

One computer. One context. Your whole team.

It installs on your computer and runs on your own AI.
